Anyone play Football Manager (Championship Manager)?

Got the new one the other week, pretty good. I just started an epic game with over 20 Europian leagues. Takes ages to process though cos i got a shit computer. Decent game though.

I tend to get pissed off by the end of the first season, when I plan to play for seasons but end up gettin relegated. Fucking Gills.

I got the newest one but i don't like it that much, its become too complicated. It takes ages just to get through one day with all the stuff you have to do if you wanna do it properly and do well

Yeah thatss what I like about it, its not the sort of game you have to just plough through.

If we're on about Championship Manager 2006, it is a class game but it gets a bit boring after a while. I've got it on the PS2 as well and you can't manage National teams, nor can you manage a team other than those in the country you first start in.

Won absolutely everything with Spurs, wouldn't want to manage another top flight club but the thought of starting back from scratch in a lower league and going through formations and tactics to suit them puts me off playing it anymore. At first I was changing my team and individual player tactics almost every game depending on my opponents, but there's only so long you can keep that up.

Yeah thats what I like to do but I end up giving up. I got the newest one, 2007, and you can have huge databases. I randomly picked a team and it put me as a series B italian team. And you can be an international maneger.

Championship manager used to be good but they sold out, the company now makes football manager games, which are exactly the same as the old champ man games. The new Champ Man games on PS2 and such ain't as good.

It wasn't that long ago that I got 2006, so I probably won't be buying another manager game for a while. Especially as I got bored in about a month, and not when I've got ye olde Pro Evo to drive me up the walls. I'm almost positive I've either broke a knuckle or cracked the bone in my hand
