wit a fuckin nob that ref was sending McGeady off with his 2nd yellow fir diving..

the player tried to pull out the challenge but still caught him, was a free kick...
McGeady was anticipating the challenge and was playing for the free kick as most do, if he really dived he would have made an arse of it Eboue status

Killens was a dive but could have either won a free kick, got a wee knock or try and get out the way but he tried to get out of the way whilst trying to win a free kick making it look like a foolish dive but never claimed and got right back up and tried to play on but if he did dive why didnt the ref book him aswell then ? it looked far more blatant than Aidens.

the only people saying the McGeady bit was a dive was the ref and Burley...
Burley whom at first was saying there was fuck all wrong with the tackle until he seen the other angle from the ref's viewpoint the when 1fuckin80 and tried to call McGeady a cheat and no doubt Bill Leckie and the other terrible cunst will tarnish a player a cheat.

i would need to see it again but if remember right Aiden was running down the wing and anticipated the challenge after beating a few players and one coming in at his back the player put his foot in then tried to get out of the tackle and made contact with the attacking player which should have been a free kick

he didny try and con the ref to win a penalty, in a big game which buries the tie if he scores it then have a wee sly smile about it a la Wedensday night...
he played for a free kick nowhere near the oppositions goal which 95% wingers do.

do you know how many of those type of challenges happen in just one game nevermind how many that happen every saturday/sunday all around the world ?

i played football for years out on the left and right flanks plus i'm a skinny cunt, cant wingers can't use inititive now by anticipating challenges and moving so they can avoid getting injured ?

as far as i'm concerned the ref tried to show UEFA he would take no shite and maybe get a wee european game out of it but ended up making himself look like a tit.

2 shocking decisions in the Hearts/Huns game last week that hardly got any attention but now with the media since wedensday and today there will be a blow out over a challenge that would had little impact on the game as the ball was going out for a throw in.

Lol I was joking about Rooney I don't think he dived... I honestly thought McGeady dived though and even if he didn't for the ref to give him a card and then not give Killen a card and waving "play on" giving niether a free kick to us or Celtic, whats that? No consistency there.

It was a good game for the most part, that Wotherspoon lad is looking like a good wee player, wont be long before he is playing for Celtic/Rangers.

Aye was nice to see Hibs werny making lots of loose passes (until like the last 5 minutes) and we were actually playing nice football. Celtic are just Celtic, yous tried that cross in to Samaras all day and it was bound to work eventually, Danny Fox was class, after what id seen of him previously i thought he was shite.

Samaras should be shot for his miss at the end though, should have easily fionished it himself and if he couldnt do that Broony as right there beside him for a squared ball. I never did like Samaras much.

Good game, just like Arsenal against Man Utd, Hibs were unlucky.

aye, it was a good game to watch.

we're better with Fortune up front just because of his movement which brings Maloney into the game more dragging defences wide
Samaras was just playing as usual supporting striker role which apart from a few shit decisions he did pretty well.

i was glad to see the huddle at the end..togetherness.

you must not have watch any of the other Celtic games because Fox has shown nothing but consistancy since the night he was drafted in away at Moscow.

I know^ I really can't see refs clamping down on the big players when they dive.

Aye well Id only seen Celtic against Arsenal and tbh I wasn't really impressed with any Celtic players but that was on thier bad nights eh.
