RW's The 10 Freshmen - Hip Hop's Class of 2010
I don't really know what the basis is for this kinf of thing, whether you go for guys who have no album out, whether people are nominated by age or whatever so who gives a fuck... Blu was on XXL's last year and he had an album out in the form of Below The Heavens so whatever.
My list: Fashawn Big Sean Wiz Khalifa Jay Electronica Nipsey Hu$$le U-N-I Pac Div Dom Kennedy J. Cole Freddie Gibbs My list is based on guys who just havn't totally blown yet to become household names, Drake wasn't even on XXL's list last year but to put him on this list would be stupid imo because he has blown up big time, people everywhere know who he is... Honourable mentions to Skyzoo - who I feel it is too late for, The Kid Daytona, FKi, Vandalyzm, Nickelus F (His Drake connection will give him a push one way or another), Chip Tha Ripper, Diz Gibran, Donnis (damn how'd he not make the list lol), El Prez, XV, GLC (been in the game a while but no album so i dunno), Jay Rock, Harlem's Cash, Kida, Pill, S.L. Jones, Laws, Willy Northpole, Torae, Sha Stimuli, Theophilius London, TreaZon, TiRon, Mikkey Halsted.... Just an absolute crazy amount of great up coming rappers... as you will all know.... oh and Waka Flocka. I'me not trying to show off with the mentions lol, I just love the music all those guys are doing and think it's fucking great that there are this many up and coming rappers... Aye so post up your lists. EDIT: Just seen Pill is on the real list, I did not expect that.

I like this list for the most part. Not sure what my list would be, but I definately agree with Fashawn, Nipsey, Jay Rock and Gibbs. Pill, J Cole and Wiz are good for a XXL list too. I'm surprised Drake wasn't on here though.

Yeah, so far there have been 4 people announced for the real XXL list and they are Pill, Nipsey, Fashawn and J. Cole. I was really surprised Pill was there tbh.

I see... U-N-I and Pac Div have been making waves but ok I see it is an XXL list and that's why OJ is there instead of one of those groups... I'd agree with the rest though.
Infact OJ is a pretty horrible mention because I know Ace Hood was on the last one but he has 2 very good albums, great production, great features etc. but OJ's album was terrible... Whatever though.
