Everyone goes on and on about Illmatic,ye,it was cool,but Skillmatic just totally demolished Illmatic!what y'all think!?!?

Both, obviously were sick as hell, but Illmatic was the beginning, and lyrically couldnt be touched. However, if you had the beats of Stillmatic with the lyrical ablilty of Illmatic, then you got the greatest shit of ALL time.

Illmatic is one of the most over rated albums of all time, there wasn't really anything special about it at all. Infact, I found it really boring. Stillmatic shits all over it.

no it wasn't, its one of the best albums LYRICALLY.......it depends on what ur into.....Illmatic is more old school. That's why I like Nas's 10th anniversary Illmatic album. It mixes the old school raw lyrics wit the new schoot beats............

Illmatic had no bad songs on it...furthermore no aiight songs on there there all dope tracks i have yet to come across someone who dislikes a track from illmatic
