For anyone who has ever played the games, it looks like this will actually be good. Monsters and music from the game are actually featured in the movie. Comes out April 21st.

I think it's going to suck because the same people that helped produce the Resident Evil and its movie sequal are also involved in this production. If they're going to reinact SH1, then why use a mother who screams through-out the whole movie? Plus, the acting already sounds cheesy.

AND WHY WAS THERE SO MANY "PEOPLE" IN THE TRAILER?!

Sorry, but after seeing what they've done to RE as a movie, i'm already pissed at the trailer i just seen of it. Smh @ black ashes falling from the sky.

word is bond....this is gunna dissapoint me....the only games that i would see turned into a movie is
1. Max Payne
2. Grand Theft Auto (anyone bu vice city...to much like scarface and carlito's way)
and.............
3. Metal Gear Solid (the first one would be sooooooo classic)

Yo that s*** looks legit i'm a big fan of the games and that seems pretty damn accurate to the storyline of the first one (xcept it was a fater and daughter not mother and daughter) man that trailer gots me all fired up to c it.....I will definately go c this movie....i just hope it doesn't disappoint. If the trailer is newhere as good as the whole movie its on.....gonna be freaked out after that one

If it's anything like the Resident Evil movies I'm gunna kill a Jap, it should be good but I said that about RE cos the storylines for both games were amazing. Thing is, if they try to make the film as true to the game as possible there'll be hardly any dialogue, he don't speak to many people in the first one at all. Original Silent Hill remains the creepiest game I've ever played
